“…Epipsocetae is one of the six infraorders of Psocoptera recognized within the suborder Psocomorpha (Yoshizawa 2002). The group comprises approximately 36 genera with 275 described species, besides the incertae sedis genus Parepipsocus Badonnel (Eertmoed 1973, Mockford 1998, Lienhard & Smithers 2002, Li Fasheng 2002, García Aldrete 2004a, 2004b, 2005a, 2005b).
