PurposeThe purpose of this study is to examine the factors influencing the adoption and utilization of the online examination portal (OEP) in Indian universities. This study combines the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Usage of Technology (UTAUT) and Task Technology Fit (TTF) to explain the user's intention to use an OEP at an Indian University.Design/methodology/approachThis study's methodology combines UTAUT as a theoretical framework with TTF. It is conceptualized that TTF has a moderating effect on UTAUT's primary construct. The authors collected the data from 182 graduate students from an Indian university. PLS-SEM is used to identify the causal relationship between the constructs using the structural equation modeling (SEM) technique.FindingsThe findings will demonstrate the applicability of the constructs of performance expectancy, effort expectancy and facilitating conditions in influencing the usage intention and behavior of students towards OEP. The outcome will also demonstrate the moderating effect of TTF on the predictors of intention to use OEP at an Indian University.Research limitations/implicationsThe sample respondents who participated in the study are students at the Indian University in Pune. The selection of samples was based on convenience sampling. Future research should be conducted at a variety of geographic locations, educational levels, undergraduate and graduate schools, as well as multiple universities. To increase the objectivity of sample selection, the probabilistic sampling method can be used to select samples. For future studies, larger sample sizes (more than 182) can be collected in order to increase the generalizability and applicability of the findings to other developing markets.Practical implicationsThe study will aid Indian universities in enhancing the effectiveness of OEP. The study will also demonstrate the users' perception of the portal and their willingness to use it. It will also assist the university administration in finalizing the examination portal's implementation strategy.Originality/valueVery few studies have been published on the factors influencing the acceptance and utilization of specific online examination systems. To address this underrepresentation, the current article investigates the factors and criteria that influence students' intent to use the OEP. The authors conceptualize the model using UTAUT as a theoretical foundation, which is absent from the published literature on the OEP. The study incorporated UTAUT and TTF to determine the impact on OEP usage and intent. In addition, the study contributes by testing the moderating effect of TTF on the UTAUT variables that influence the intention to use OEP.

Background: Modern technology increases nowadays in the academic institutions as a result of digital transformation. Electronic exam is a new system that becomes a necessary assessment tool in the online learning process due to its efficacy and effectiveness. Aim: The current study aimed to assess maternity students' perception, anxiety and satisfaction regarding electronic exam. Subjects and method: A descriptive cross-sectional study design was followed. The study was conducted in the Maternity Nursing Laboratory at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, Egypt. A convenience sample was applied included One hundred and fifty eight undergraduate students who were in active enrollment of Maternity &Gynecology Course. Data collected through an online electronic survey on Google platform to assess students' personal characteristics, levels of perception, anxiety and satisfaction regarding Electronic exam. Results: More than fifty percent of the students agreed that electronic exam is a better assessment method than the paper-based exam, it provides them with an opportunity to obtain good results, results can be obtained faster than the paper-based exam, and e-exam improves student technical and computing skills. Despite nearly two-thirds of studied students were highly satisfied about electronic exam, but, more than two-thirds of them had a moderate anxiety level. Conclusion: Eexam is an effective assessment tool than paper-based exam, but it is not suitable for clinical courses, doesn't reflect students' full performance, and there are some technical and practical issues that increase student's anxiety during the E-exam. Therefore, conducting a regular meeting with the students to provide a clear explanation about the nature of electronic exam and maintaining psychological and technical support during E-exam is recommended to alleviate student's anxiety.

The Journal of Information and Knowledge Management (JIKM) published its first issue in 2002 and celebrated its 19th birthday in 2020. This study aims to assess JIKM performance over its lifetime between 2002 and 2020 by extracting data from the Scopus database and using a combined approach of bibliometric and content analysis. More specifically, we evaluate JIKM’s productivity and stature, discuss its performance compared to other journals, and identify key contributing (authors, institutions, and countries), citation pattern, and conceptual structure. The results highlight JIKM’s growing presence, which is reflected in the dual rise of publication activity and accumulated citation. JIKM becomes one of the preeminent journals in the area of knowledge management, with a broad range of scientific actors’ contributions (authors, institutions and countries) from all over the world. Furthermore, using a bibliographic coupling, keywords’ analysis, and co-authorship analysis, we analyse JIKM’s content and identify the most frequent themes discussed. The analysis reveals that JIKM has expanded its scope from knowledge management to a new array of emerging technologies’ topics such as artificial intelligence and data mining. Graphical visualization of similarities (VOSviewer and Rstudio) shows that the major themes published are clustered into four groups, mainly (i) sustainable knowledge, (ii) emerging technologies, (iii) information management, and (iv) organization culture and knowledge sharing.
