A new approach to numerical analysis of reliability indices in electronics

Abstract: Abstract. Spatial modeling of unsteady temperature fields is conducted in a microelectronic printed circuit board (PCB) with an account of convective and radiation heat transfer with the environment. The data for numerical modeling of temperature fields serve as a basis for determining the aging characteristics of the polymer material as a structural component of electronic engineering products. The obtained results allow concluding on the necessity to consider spatial nonuniform temperature fields when estima… Show more

“…The content of 36 Cl was measured by AMS, leading to a cross section value that, within the uncertainties, is in agreement with the average of previously published results [102]. Measurement of elastic scattering of protons, namely the reactions 6 Li(p,p') 6 Li, 7 Li(p,p') 7 Li, 12 C(p,p') 12 C, 19 F(p,p') 19 F, 31 P(p,p') 31 P at both forward and backward angles were performed at LATR facility and gave reliable information both for the purpose of acquiring precise optical model parameters and for the purpose of characterizing the excited states of nuclei.…”

“…The method of particle-gamma coincidence is employed for background suppression. In this project, annular silicon strip detectors customized at IPHC-CNRS, Strasbourg [31] were integrated with LaBr3(Ce) detectors from the FATIMA (FAst TIMing Array) [32]. The sensitivity of the technique has effectively removed ambiguities in existing measurements made with gamma-ray or charged-particle detection alone and made it possible to obtain reliable excitation functions for the 12 C+ 12 C reaction spanning eight orders of magnitude in the cross-section [33].…”

“…Utilization of the methods in predicting electrical devices POF reliability allows minimizing the number of acceptance tests. Thus the methods based on the physics of failure [9][10][11][12][13][14], may be the important component concepts of PDfR (PDfR -Probabilistic Design for Reliability) [15] and DRM (DRM -Dynamic Reliability Management) [16].…”
