A new approach for service migration in cloud‐based e‐commerce using an optimization algorithm

Abstract: SummaryService‐oriented architecture (SOA) has a crucial role in backing productive cloud services. Also, the vast spread of the theoretical notion of diverse businesses (like e‐commerce) into the actual use has been recently applied by cloud computing. The service functionality could be affected by overfilling of the network traffic because of the broadly dispersed nature of e‐commerce in clouds—a key challenge for immediate jobs. Throughout the last decade, a vast range of applications or large‐scale operato… Show more

“…This work, being scalable, can identify the incidence values of each item in a survey that evaluates a factor [43]. With this feature, it is possible to design surveys that guarantee the quality of the data and capture the real impression of the consumer with respect to the digital market [44]. The application of the method and the results obtained made it possible to generate a comparison with related works.…”

“…Software is offered to clients as on-demand services, normally in a browser, in SaaS. It reduces the difficulties of software disposal and maintenance (Huang and Abnoosian, 2020). A model of cloud computing services is depicted in Figure 1.…”

“…Traditional trade has been transformed by e-commerce, which is online vs real-life commerce. The following are few examples of E-commerce: stocks, retailing, bond investing, banking, real estate dealing, auctions, airline booking and movie rentals – nearly anything you might consider in the real world (Huang and Abnoosian, 2020). Moreover, a cloud-based e-commerce technology model helps retailers execute e-commerce operations effectively when working with minimal resources (Rukhsara et al , 2016).…”

“…On cloud‐oriented e‐commerce, Huang and Abnoosian 24 proposed an automated smart service migration outline using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) method. The provided model utilized the ACO algorithm to make the best (near‐optimal) service migration decisions.…”
