A New 3D Mn(II) Coordination Polymer Built by 2-(m-Methylphenyl)-Imidazole Dicarboxylate Ligand

Abstract: A novel coordination polymer, {[Mn 3 (m 3 -m-MePhIDC) 2 (H 2 O) 6 ]¢3H 2 O} n (1), has been synthesized by hydrothermal reaction, employing 2-(m-methylphenyl)-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid (m-MePhH 3 IDC) as organic ligand, and characterized by singlecrystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, PXRD, and IR spectra.
