A nautiloid from Middle Eocene beds at Grdoselo in Istria, Croatia

Abstract: V prispevku so obravnavani ostanki kamenega jedra fragmokona eocenskega navtilida vrste Aturia cf. ziczac (Sowerby, 1812) iz Grdosela v osrednji Istri. Aturijini ostanki so iz horizonta apnen~evih pe{~enjakov megasekvence pazinskega fli{nega bazena. V teh plasteh je veliko morskih ježkov rodov Echinolampas in Cyclaster, veliko manj je primerkov rodov Macropneustes in Conoclypus. Od mehkužcev so praviloma najdena samo njihova kamena jedra.
