Abstract: Objective: We propose a single-ended readout, multi-resolution detector design that can achieve high spatial, depth-of-interaction (DOI), and time-of-flight (TOF) resolutions, as well as high sensitivity for human brain-dedicated positron emission tomography (PET) scanners.
