A Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) for Renewable Energy Plants Location Selection in Vietnam under a Fuzzy Environment

Abstract: In the context of increasing energy demands in Vietnam, and as a result of the limited supply of domestic energy (oil/gas/coal reserves are exhausted), the potential for renewable energy sources in Vietnam is significant. Thus, building wind power plants in Vietnam is necessary. Access to this type of renewable energy not only contributes to society’s energy supply but also helps to save energy and reduce environmental pollution. Although some works have reviewed applications of the Multi-Criteria Decision Mak… Show more

“…The study extracts 41 features from the provided packets information, including categorical and quantity values. We code the categorical features into antibody with Arabic numbers (Table 3), whereas the quantity values are converted to fuzzy numbers [20] (Figure 5). When the state machine detects suspicious packets compliant with M2, the system goes to a suspicious attack state and continues subsequent detection while verifying whether an attack is occurring.…”

“…In this work, the authors applied a data envelopment analysis (DEA) model for the selection of potential locations, FAHP was used for determining the weight of sub-factors, and TOPSIS was applied for ranking potential options. Wang et al [19] proposed an MCDM model for wind power plant location selection. This study resided in the evolution of a new model that is flexible and practical for a decision-maker for site selection in the energy sector.…”

“…Shi et al [8] designed a 10 MW S-CO 2 three-stage axial turbine, which can adapt to the variable operating conditions of the solar power generation system and meet the accompanying design requirements. Wang et al [9] developed a hybrid fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to select wind power plant sites in Vietnam, which also provided a useful guideline for wind power plant location selection in other countries.…”
