A modular approach to teaching management science and statistics using APL

Abstract

Course material in Management Science and Statistics can be classified by topics.Each topic can be subclassified into specific areas involving distinct algorithmic treatment.The paper describes three workspaces which may be used for the teaching of probability functions, simple linear regression, and linear prograrmaing.Emphasis is placed on a modular approach to teaching and programming.
