A modified anaesthetic induction chamber for rats

Abstract: SummaryThe anaesthetic induction chamber for rats described in this paper has been designed for use in conjunction with a controlled delivery of halothane/02 mixture and an anaesthetic scavenger system. Using this system rapid induction of anaesthesia is achieved using low levels of anaesthetic vapour without risk to the operator.
