Nowadays the software industry has known a significant growth, while the end-users have become very demanding. In this sense, the model transformation has become one of the essential solutions to ensure competitiveness in the field of the software industry domain. For that, the Object Management Group (OMG) proposes for the Model-Driven Architecture (MDA) approach three abstraction levels, namely Computation Independent Model (CIM), Platform Independent Model (PIM) and Platform Specific Model (PSM). Therefore, our contribution in this paper is to shed more light on the first MDA transformation, which is the transformation from CIM to PIM levels. We propose a disciplined Model-Driven approach for the e-business information system, which generates the IFML (Interaction Flow Modeling Language) model automatically in the PIM level from business value model in the CIM level, using the ATL transformation language. For this purpose, the business value model is illustrated by the E3value model, whereas, the IFML model exhibits the front-end applications content, interface composition, user interaction and control behavior for several kinds of applications, such as web applications, mobile applications and desktop applications.

The transition of software development from web to cloud has been accelerated. The development of cloud services requires a modeling method that reflects the characteristics of cloud including personalized service, resource sharing service, grouped and distributed services, and crossplatform operability. This study aimed to suggest a method of developing UML-based cloud services suitable for the characteristics of cloud services. A cloud service metamodel was defined using cloud applications' characteristic modeling elements, and after that, how these cloud modeling elements are expressed into UML modeling elements was defined with an integrated metamodel between cloud and UML. By applying this hierarchical cloud metamodel, an MDA and MVC-based service-oriented cloud modeling process was established. By doing so, it will be possible to easily design services (applications) and solutions that are suitable for cloud computing environments, and in particular, to create hierarchical reuse models by the level of the abstraction of model-driven development. since 2008. MoDisco is an Eclipse Generative Modeling Technologies project (GMT Project) intended to make easier the design and building of model-based solutions that are dedicated to legacy systems Model-Driven Reverse Engineering (MDRE). It offers an open source, generic and extensible MDRE framework. Indeed, MDRE applies of Model-driven Engineering (MDE) principles to enhance traditional Reverse Engineering processes, and thus facilitate their understanding and manipulation. In the same context, the Architecture-Driven Modernization (ADM) is an OMG (Object Management Group) standard, which addresses the integration of MDA (Model-driven Architecture) and Reverse Engineering in the aim of understanding and evolving existing software assets. Thus, Modisco succeeded to stand out as the implementation reference in the MDRE and ADM field. Currently, Modisco handles only some technologies, such as Java and XML. Unfortunately, no adapted way to handle PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) web-based projects by Modisco is available so far. This paper proposes a new model discovery tool intended for PHP language. This latter constitutes an extension for the Modisco framework that allows managing the applications assets written in PHP language. Thus, this work aims at enhancing the Modisco platform capabilities in managing more software development technologies.
