A model reference tracking based on an active fault tolerant control for LPV systems

Abstract: This work deals with the problem of a model reference tracking based on the design of an active fault tolerant control for linear parameter-varying systems affected by actuator faults and unknown inputs. Linear parameter-varying systems are described by a polytopic representation with measurable gain scheduling functions. The main contribution is to design an active fault tolerant controller whose control law is described by an adaptive proportional integral structure. This one requires 3 types of online infor… Show more

“…Regarding a FTC for a 3‐DOF helicopter, the stabilization problem considering actuator faults is addressed in [7], by means of the H ∞ methodology. An AFTC for linear parameter varying (LPV) systems expressed as polytopic and descriptor LPV systems has been presented in [8,9], respectively. These approaches include sensors and actuator faults achieving faulty system stability through a control reconfiguration or system reconfiguration.…”

“…Meanwhile, the design problem of the model reference tracking control about the spatially interconnected discrete-time systems with interconnected chains is concerned based on LMIs in [16]. Besides, Rabaoui et al deal with the problem of model reference tracking under the design of active fault-tolerant control for linear parameter-varying systems with actuator faults and unknown inputs [17].…”
