A model of transcriptional and morphological changes during thyroid hormone-induced metamorphosis of the axolotl

Abstract: Anuran (frog) metamorphosis has long-served as a model of how thyroid hormones regulate postembryonic development in vertebrates. However, comparatively little is known about urodele (salamander) metamorphosis.
