A Model for Teaching Writing in Large Introductory Political Science Classes

Abstract: For the past two years as part of the Writing Center's writing-across-the-curriculum project at Montana State University, we have been experimenting with writing assignments in an introductory American government class with an enrollment of 130-150 students per quarter.
