“…Previous research has shown that factors such as occupational stress have a negative effect on job satisfaction (Steinhardt et al , 2003), and the factors such as freedom to act in one’s job, the richness and motivation for the job, independence in the job, timely feedback, and other features associated with the nature of the job positively influence the job satisfaction (Christen et al , 2006). Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on other variables such as job performance (Moqbel et al , 2013), organizational citizenship behaviors (Ilies et al , 2009; Schappe, 1998), organizational commitment (Tabarsa et al , 2018), and constructive voice behavior (Tabarsa et al , 2019).…”

“…Second, although previous studies have referred to some of the positive implications and benefits of the non-work-related use of ESN (Aboelmaged, 2018;Luo et al, 2018), one cannot conclude that this type of use leads to maximizing the benefits of the ESN for the company. This is because earlier studies have rarely mentioned the probable detrimental consequences that the non-work-related use of ESN might bring about, including the emergence of interpersonal conflict (Moqbel and Kock, 2018), tension (Chen and Wei, 2019), destructive voice (Tabarsa et al, 2019) and staff turnover (Yingjie et al, 2019). Thus, we can argue that ESN brings the most benefits to the organizations when the employees use the technology for work or the way that the managers wish.…”
