“…Like fly ash, marble waste also seems to have wide particle size distribution with average size varying between 5 μm to 115 μm. (Criado et al, 2016;Ismail et al, 2014;Wang et al, 2019). In case of marble waste, the stretching bands at 1432 cm -1 and 876 cm -1 are assigned to C-O bond arising from calcium carbonate.…”

“…Fenton-like catalysts based on zeolites modified by other metal oxides have been recently studied [29]. The CFAZs have attracted the attention of researchers as catalysts for Fenton oxidation processes because they contain iron oxides in the form of magnetite, maghemite, and hematite, which are transferred from the raw coal ash [30,31]. In addition, they can be modified with different metal oxides to improve their catalytic properties [32,33].…”

“…Every year, up to 600 million tons of fly ash are emitted by China and costs a lot to deal with. Fly ash is a type of cheap industrial solid waste, and the accumulation of it will cause a large amount of arable land and farmland to be occupied. The erosion of rain will pollute groundwater, and the dust generated by wind will endanger people’s health . Fly ash is a byproduct of coal combustion in coal-fired power plants with a good pore structure, which is widely used in ecological sewage treatment, industrial catalyst preparation, and soil remediation.…”
