A Microsampling Technique Utilizing an Electrothermal Tungsten-Boat Vaporization Device for Atmospheric Pressure Helium Microwave-Induced Plasma Emission Spectrometry

Abstract: A discrete microsampling technique using an electrothermal tungsten-boat vaporization device has been applied to atmospheric pressure helium microwave-induced plasma emission spectroemtry. The detection limits of 10−10–10−9 g were obtained for Cd, Cu, Fe, Pb, Zn, and P, and the reproducibilities were in the range of 2.4–11.4%.
