A Micro‐3‐Degree‐of‐Freedom Force Sensor for Intraocular Dexterous Surgical Robots

Abstract: Robot‐Assisted Retinal Surgery In article number http://doi.wiley.com/10.1002/aisy.202200413, Jie Zhao, He Zhang, and colleagues design a micro 3‐DOF force sensor which can be used for Retinal Vein Cannulation (RVC). The new concept of an intraocular continuum surgical robot with force sensing is proposed, which realizes high‐precision positioning, injection angle adjustment and force sensing for RVC, providing a new way of thinking for robot‐assisted retinal surgery.
