Abstract:Distributed Virtual Environments (DVEs) are a large class of real-time simulation systems. We present an implementation-independent methodology for measuring, analyzing, and comparing DVE systems performance. The methodology comprises of a process of requirements elicitation and their conversion into measurable objectives. The process for determining quality requirements for a DVE is discussed, with a focus on interaction-based scenario analysis. An example is given with a simple game -Asteroidsthat has been m… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
