A Method to Synthesize the Multiple‐Pattern Frequency‐Invariant Conformal Arrays

Abstract: This paper presents a method to synthesize the multiple‐pattern frequency‐invariant conformal arrays for the first time. In this method, the extended generalized matrix pencil method is applied to obtain the optimized linear arrays. Then with the help of the quasi‐conformal transformation optics, the conformal arrays are designed by employing the inhomogeneous metamaterials.
