A Method of Vehicle Route Prediction Based on Social Network Analysis

Abstract: A method of vehicle route prediction based on social network analysis is proposed in this paper. The difference from proposed work is that, according to our collected vehicles’ past trips, we build a relationship model between different road segments rather than find the driving regularity of vehicles to predict upcoming routes. In this paper, firstly we depend on graph theory to build an initial road network model and modify related model parameters based on the collected data set. Then we transform the model… Show more

“…The data of these communication styles is similar but not compatible because of the lack of unified interaction interfaces. (2) Due to the lack of service contents [80,81] and service styles, the information is transferred from the ship terminal to the coast station only to meet the requirement of the administration. A general service platform should be established to provide various information services.…”

“…Following the principle of reliability, stability and security (Gong et al 2016;Wang et al 2016), we designed a dynamic data acquisition system for energy efficiency measurement. This system has fully considered the character of the object ship and the navigation environment (Ye et al 2015;Prinsloo and Malekian 2016) of the voyage segment, and met the requirement of further analysis.…”

“…In addition, the diversification of the moving vehicle environment also makes the problem more complex. How to accurately predict the location information of the driving vehicle is a difficult problem needed to be solved collectively [6]. There are already some research results, such as the clustering of moving objects, the anomaly detection, the location and the prediction of movement trend, where the driving vehicle position prediction technology is continuously improved, but because of the theory and technology of the immature, most models can't be well adapted to the needs of moving vehicle position prediction [7][8][9][10].…”
