A metapsicologia do analista no trabalho de psicanálise: uma perspectiva ferencziana

Abstract

This master thesis discusses the metapsychology of the analyst. It starts with Sándor Ferenczi and his concern with the psyche of the analyst during work with psychoanalysis. It presents the psychoanalytic background of the author who composed-from his clinic with difficult patients-a psychoanalysis, which technique is made sensitive to the singularities of the analysands, and which elasticity is shown initially in the psychic possibilities and availabilities of the analyst. Subsequently, this study interweaves the theoretical framework with the Clinical Diary of Ferenczi-particularly his metapsychological considerations as an analyst and the demand for alterity-and articulates the Ferenczian understandings of the analyst's psyche with the theory and clinic of D. W. Winnicott. Lastly, drawing on the convergences of other psychoanalysts with Ferenczi and Winnicott this piece of research suggests that the analyst's attention to his or her internal processes are fundamental to achieve the intersubjective work, which is structuring for the contemporary Psychoanalysis.
