A Memory-Efficient Hybrid Implicit–Explicit FDTD Method for Electromagnetic Simulation

Abstract: As the explicit finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is restricted by the Courant−-Friedrich−-Levy (CFL) stability condition and inefficient for simulation in some situations, implicit methods are developed.
