Analyze how organizational memory, related to the business context, has been discussed in national research. Organizational memory is related to an individual and organizational process aimed at recording information in the business context. Business organizations that manage their information are more likely to be successful and remain competitive in the market. A systematic literature review on the subject was carried out, focusing on empirical studies indexed in BRAPCI, published between 2010 and 2020. It was found that there are not many empirical studies in the area and that the existing ones focus on organizational memory under different aspects, being investigated the relationships with curation, knowledge management, information systems, among others. The article uses a specific research protocol that allows for the replication and updating of the study carried out. The results obtained contribute to the understanding of the relationship between knowledge management and organizational memory. It is expected that this research will contribute to elucidate the application of theoretical concepts in practice, generating specific knowledge about the different market segments, leading to an understanding of how OM and knowledge management behave in these environments.
