Abstract:A lumped model for H2/O2 oxidation in the oscillatory regime is constructed by using the approach of approximate constrained nonlinear lumping based on an algebraic method within nonlinear perturbation theory. The fast variables approach zero rapidly such that the lumped model is constructed within a slow manifold by setting the identified fast variables to zero. The model dimension is reduced from 7 to 4. The variables representing the concentrations of H2, O2, H2O, and H are explicitly kept unlumped. The lum… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
