Abstract: Background: The Basic Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (BEmONC) training program merges core modules from Helping Mothers Survive and Helping Babies Survive training programs to improve obstetrical and newborn outcomes. The duration of BEmONC training varies between facilities and countries.
