-Nowadays women are facing many security problems in the society. In such cases, they feel handicap and need help to protect them. Even though many technologies have been introduced for women still kidnapping, eve teasing and sexual harassment are taking place in our country. When the women face into unsecured situations, to ensure the safety, automatic detection system needs to establish which send an alert message which includes the location of the police department. This can be done by sensing various factors such as abnormal sounds, body reaction like trembling, dreading and heartbeat which can be sensed using sensor and to provide the alert message.In this paper, we surveyed the existing mechanism for detecting locations, for sending communications and collecting physical parameters of the human body using sensors.

This paper presents a model for general purpose alarm generator for various industrial and defence applications. It can be used to monitor status and remote alarm generation. GSM interfaced microcontroller based system is used to provide basic protection form generic problem. The system can be connected to the online or offline server. When system is power on it is always ready to response for its triggering input. Whenever any undesired event occurs it provides instantaneous audio-visual alarm in located area and sends SMS alert to pre-defined persons. This SMS contains information about that condition and the location of area where it is generated. It also informs higher and appropriate authorities about situation in that area. A control room person can send any number of messages to update real time conditions via online server. More than one alarm generator can be connected with each other in a particular area to work either independently or simultaneously. IoT based android application is also used to notify higher authority with real time location and status of situation

:The development in embedded system has proved to a reliable solution in motion detection system, so motion detection is one of the key techniques in surveillance. This paper mainly focuses to improve motion detection based on low computing system "Raspberry Pi" where USB camera used to capture image when detected the unauthorized Activity using pyroelectric infrared (PIR) sensors. This system is suitable for small personal area surveillance offices/homes bank locker room, parking entrance. Whenever the motion is detected through PIR sensor the image is captured through camera and stored in the raspberry pi module and then send to email sever. The internet of things (IOT) based application used to get notifications and view the images of the motion occurrence over internet through email server, thus the system provides an innovative approach to theft detection using IOT.
