A locking‐free shifted inverse iteration based on multigrid discretization for the elastic eigenvalue problem

Abstract

We propose a locking‐free shifted inverse iteration based on multigrid discretization and prove the error estimates of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. Besides, we also present a multigrid correction scheme based on the multilevel correction. Numerical experiments coincide in our theoretical analysis and validate that our scheme is highly efficient.
