A Lightweight Approach to Distributed Network Diagnosis under Uncertainty

Abstract: Network Management faces major challenges nowadays. Management applications have not kept the changing pace of networks and services and still rely on centralized approaches. Moreover, uncertainty is part of the reality. This paper presents a lightweight collaborative approach to network troubleshooting, based in multi agents and probabilistic techniques. The proposed architecture has been applied to three different network environments.
