`A life on hold': adolescents' experiences of stem cell transplantation in a long-term perspective

Abstract: Stem cell transplantation is one of the treatment methods for cancer in children and adolescents which has resulted in a positive outcome. Unfortunately this method of treatment brings with it a number of late effects such as short stature, cognitive effects and infertility.
