A Large Group Decision-Making Method Based on Fuzzy Preference Relation

Abstract: Aiming at the large group decision-making problem in which every decision maker compares pairwise alternatives with fuzzy preference relations, this paper proposes a fuzzy preference relation decision-making method of large group based on conflicts. Firstly, priority should be given to the preference difference under complex large group environment, so we define the conflict degree of two fuzzy preference relations, which contributes to cluster analysis on preferences of the decision maker and thus forms sever… Show more

“…With the increasing attention on the GSS issues, the scale of decision makers involved the decision-making process is also growing significantly in practice. In general, a GDM problem, in which the number of decision makers exceeds 20, can constitute a large-scale GDM issue [57,58]. Hence, this paper aims to develop a novel approach for the large-scale GSS, which can be implemented by four processes; namely, the clustering process of large-scale decision makers, aggregation process of individual evaluation information, determination process of the criteria weights, and ranking process using the q-RIVOF-MULTIMOORA method.…”

“…It is worth highlighting Zhou et al (2017) finding for whom group decision methods are always drawing attention. Many significant decision-making types of research have been and continue to be developed, indicating that existing decision-making methods concentrate mainly on multiattribute processes, group decisions, linguistic preference information and multi-stage decisions.…”

“…en, using several linguistic terms to express evaluation information is more scientific. In this case, the hesitant fuzzy set based on probability was proposed as the probability-based hesitant fuzzy set (PHFS) [8,9], and probabilistic linguistic term set (PLTS) by Qi Pang et al is proposed to describe the object more effectively [10]. e PLTSs allow the DMs to give several linguistic terms, serving as the value of a linguistic variable, which enriches the flexibility of the expression of linguistic information.…”
