Abstract:There is an increased interest in developing imaging systems in proton therapy, with the aim of reducing range uncertainty in treatment planning, assisting in patient positioning and verifying anatomical changes at the time of the treatment. Recently, the PRaVDA collaboration has developed two different solid-state detector technologies for imaging in proton therapy: Silicon Strip Detectors and CMOS Active Pixel Sensors (APSs). This paper reports on the design and optimisation process of the PRaVDA CMOS APSs. … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
