Abstract:Resumo: Este artigo analisa a inserção da obra "Euclides da Cunha e o Paraíso Perdido", de Leandro Tocantins, na imprensa carioca nos anos de 1960. A fundamentação teórica levou em conta, por um lado, os estudos da recepção e da função do autor em nossa contemporaneidade; por outro, os estudos sobre as relações entre literatura e cordialidade na cultura brasileira.
