A Influência Da Intervenção Precoce No Processo De Inclusão Social

Abstract

The present study aimed to evaluate how Early Intervention helps children with Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities and Autism in social inclusion. The methodology used to carry out this study was the application of a questionnaire via a messaging application on the Google Forms platform, sent to 80 families of children aged 0 to 6 years, assisted at APAE -Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais, from São José dos Campos -SP, in the Early Intervention Program. Each family and/or caregiver should answer 10 questions about diagnosis, care, access to sports, culture and leisure, use of assistive devices and the child's evolution. The results obtained in this study showed that Early Intervention contributes to the social inclusion of children with Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. It was concluded that the specialized care provided early favors the insertion of the child in society, since they contribute to autonomy, independence, communication, interaction and motor development.
