Abstract:This paper addresses the problem of information consensus in a team of networked agents with uncertain local estimates described by parameterized distributions in the exponential family. In particular, the method utilizes the concepts of pseudo-measurements and conjugacy of probability distributions to achieve a steady-state estimate consistent with a Bayesian fusion of each agent's local knowledge, without requiring complex channel filters or being limited to normally distributed uncertainties. It is shown th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
