Abstract

Impact on patient experience and quality of care A s new nursing care models emerge, care delivery must become more flexible. With the increasing demand for advanced technology when caring for patients, it's more important than ever to integrate creative solutions that reflect scope of practice, clinical competency, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills to enhance the patient's experience or quality of care. This article presents a systematic literature review to examine hybrid models of nursing care, combining in-person and virtual nursing models, as one possible, practical solution.
