A Honeycomb-Like Crystalline Self-Assembled Hexadeca-Substituted Phthalocyanine

Abstract: Hexadeca‐substituted metal‐free and zinc(II) phthalocyanines carrying alkoxy substituents on non‐peripheral(α) and 4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl‐ethynyl groups on peripheral(β) positions have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic techniques. The complexes show Q band beyond 800 nm.
