A home‐made sunshine recorder

Abstract: nally 'modulated' by solar heating. Such a fog could last almost indefinitely in the absence of major weather disturbances. Sea fogs may persist for several days off the UK coasts, and weeks off the Californian coasts in spring and summerthe latter area being less subject to weather disturbance than temperate latitudes.Even in the absence of major disturbances, established sea fog is 'shaped' and moved (at typically 5-10ms-1) by the dynamics of local mesoscale circulations.
