A Highly Efficient Medium Access Protocol in Shared Wireless Medium Networks

Abstract: IEEE 802. 11 Distributed Coordination Function (DCF) is the most popular Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol in distributed wireless networks, in which the wireless medium is shared.
