Abstract: Summary A high‐efficient fast‐transient boost converter with adaptive on‐time controlled and zero‐current–detection techniques is presented in this paper. The adaptive on‐time controlled technique can rapidly reach desired output voltage in two to three switching cycles. The proposed boost converter uses a zero‐current–detector to detect and prevent the negative inductor current issue that can decrease the light‐load power consumption and increase the light‐load efficiency.
