Abstract: Diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) efforts are increasingly recognized as critical for success of academic institutions. These efforts are facilitated mainly through the formation of dedicated DEIA committees. DEIA committees enhance professional development and create a more inclusive environment, which benefits all members of the institution.
