A Genosensor Based on the Modification of a Microcantilever: A Review

Abstract: When the free end of a microcantilever is modified by a genetic probe, this sensor can be used for a wider range of applications, such as for chemical analysis, biological testing, pharmaceutical screening, and environmental monitoring. In this paper, to clarify the preparation and detection process of a microcantilever sensor with genetic probe modification, the core procedures, such as probe immobilization, complementary hybridization, and signal extraction and processing, are combined and compared. Then, to… Show more

“…To tackle the testing challenge in ML, alternative approaches can be used like metamorphic testing [10], where the ML model is further tested with transformations of the original testing datasets. Finally, as identified in reference [11], the deployment of artificial intelligence in embedded devices raises different concerns like the selection of a platform with hardware accelerators such as field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) or general purpose graphics processing units (GPGPUs). Such complex architecture raises issues related to real-time constraints like temporal behavior determinism.…”

“…Today, enabling “intelligence” in technology has become a key strategy of research spanning different disciplines. [ 130,131 ] Neuromorphic technology shows great potential to dissolve the issue of display. In the whole process of display (from image acquisition to luminescence unit), neuromorphic devices play different roles, such as bioinspired sensing, neural driving, and smart luminescence.…”
