A generalized power transfer distribution factor for power injection analysis of power grids

Abstract

A general i zed power flow sensitivit y i ndex is pro posed based on the traditional power flow distribution sensitivit y anal y sis method. A strateg y for power injection and power flow allocation is proposed, concerning the background of integrat ing the renewable energ y resources into the traditional power grids. A coordinated operation mechanism between the injected renewable energ y resources and the existing power generators is proposed. The reliabilit y of the power grids can be improved.The power flow on the distribution network can be reduced.Simulation stud y verifies the claims in this paper.
