A generalized computer-aided formulation for the dynamic and steady state analysis of induction machine inverter drive systems

Abstract: This paper presents a generalized formulation for the computer-aided analysis of induction machine drives including feedback controls. A simple circuit model for the induction machine is developed to enhance the conventional drive formulation. This machine model, which can be directly interfaced with any drive circuit configuration, significantly simplifies the commonly used dq formulation.
