A generalization of the shock invariant relationship

Abstract: Shock invariant relationship, which was conceived for inert shock waves to derive the 4th power relationship between shock pressure and maximum strain rate, is generalized for reactive shock waves such as Chapman–Jouget detonation and shock-induced vaporization.
