A Fully Generalised Approach to Modelling Fire Response of Steel-Rc Composite Structures

Abstract: In the paper a new generalised three-phase finite-element numerical model for the fire analysis of beam-like steel-concrete composite structures is presented. In addition, the influence of contact stiffness in a standard trapezoidal RC plate to its ultimate fire resistance is presented employing the proposed numerical procedure.
