A framework for the Virtual Heterogeneous Associative Machine

Abstract: This paper first gives an overview of the HeterogeneousAssociative Computing paradigm (HAC -pronounced hask) for heterogeneous computing being developed at Kent State University. It then discusses the concept of the Virtual Heterogeneous Associative Machine (VHAMpronounced vee-ham) which is an augmented view of the virtual machine concept as it applies to HAsC.
