A Four-Quadrant Switched Capacitor DC-DC Convertor Enabling Power-Efficient Lab-Grade Potentiostats

Abstract

This paper presents a low-power potentiostat based on a four-quadrant switched capacitor DC-DC convertor, optimized for a high overall efficiency. The potentiostat targets output currents in the range of 1 µA to 1 mA and achieves a compliance voltage of ±2.5 V. The system is designed and simulated in a 0.35 µm process.
