Abstract:SUMMARYDuring the years 1952 to 1961, a total of 2561 cases of Rh‐isoimmunisation were recognised during pregnancy in Northumberland and Durham—an incidence of 6.7 per 1000 total births. 1802 of these infants were delivered in Newcastle hospitals, of whom 1544 were born alive.
