A film-thermoluminescent dosimetry method for predicting body doses due to diagnostic radiography

Abstract: 4 technique for obtaining a continuous dose distribution in a phantom exposed t o x-rays has been dovelopod and applied to assess the dose in man resulting from radiographic examinations. Film packets and LiF thermoluminescent microdosemeters arc sandwiched lmtwoen the transverse sections of a phantom ant1 exposed to typical diagnostic x-ray procedures.
